I am an Assistant Professor of English and Director of the Composition Program at the University of Colorado Denver (UC Denver). My scholarly interests are in rhetoric & composition and disability studies, as well as multimodal composition and writing program administration. I teach courses in all things writing, including argumentation, multimedia writing, rhetorical theory, and more. For an overview of my activities, check out my CV. You may also wish to view my teaching portfolio.

This website outlines my research, teaching , and service, and also explains some of my work in Disability Studies and the UC Denver Composition Program.

UC Denver is located downtown and is part of the larger CU system, which includes the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and CU Boulder. My university co-exists with Metro State College and the Community College of Denver, all on one campus.

I welcome feedback on this site, particularly around access issues. Please drop me an email at amy.vidali@ucdenver.edu. Thanks!
